We recommend you plan to park at the LBCC PCH Campus.  Details on meet-up location and what number we are in the parade to come.

It’s important for ALL members: teachers, counselors, nurses, psychologists, librarians, and SLPs to come together and be visible in the community. Plan to walk at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. parade with your colleagues to demonstrate our support for the human and civil rights of all people. This also encourages public support for us as educators.

State Council of Education Meeting

Our union’s top policy-making body is the State Council of Education. Meeting four times a year, the council’s nearly 800 delegates elect the three state-level CTA officers and the CTA Board of Directors. Council also sets forth CTA policy, develops legislation, and makes recommendations in general elections.
