Runner(s) up will not be elected alternate(s).
If you want to be an elected alternate please fill out the alternate CTA State Council declaration.
Alternate CTA State Council Declaration of Candidacy
There can be up to 5 Alternates. The top 3 will have terms from 2026-2029, 4 & 5 will have a term of 26-27.
Declarations of Candidacy forms are available through your TALB Representative, on the TALB website , or at the TALB office.
Deliver your completed Declaration of Candidacy forms and Flyers to the TALB Office, 4362 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, or by email to talbelections@talb.org.
Deadline for delivery is Friday, October 2, 2026 by 4:30 pm.
Important Dates
September 22, 2026: Candidacy forms sent to Representatives and available online
October 2, 2026: Candidacy Declaration Forms Deadline: Due on Friday, October 2, 2026 by 4:30 pm.
September 22 – October 2, 2026: Confirmation letters sent to all candidates
October 27, 2026: Candidate speeches at Representative Council Meeting
October 28 – November 6, 2026: Electronic voting and written ballots available at TALB office.
Ballots due at the TALB offices by 4:30pm on Friday, November 6, 2026
November 9, 2026: Results will be sent to the membership
